Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading DBO Studio, browsing dbo-studio.com, or using related services we provide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or this website. The open-source license for the application still applies to the code itself.

2. Software license

The DBO Studio application is open source. You may use, study, modify, and redistribute it under the license published in the project repository. These website terms do not replace that license, restrict commercial use granted by that license, or forbid reverse engineering that the license allows. Official builds are published with the project on Github.

3. This website

You may browse this site, download official builds, read the blog, and contact us. Do not abuse forms, attempt to disrupt the service, or present unofficial builds as if we published them. Content on this website (docs, branding, and marketing copy) is provided so you can evaluate and use the product; it is not a grant of trademark rights.

4. Disclaimer

DBO Studio and this website are provided 'as is'. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Database work can destroy data. You are responsible for backups, access control, and reviewing SQL before you run it.

5. Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, DBO Studio and its contributors are not liable for damages arising from use of the software or this website, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if we were told that such damage was possible.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The “last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the new terms. The software license in the repository changes only when that license file changes.
